Health and Environmental Safety Award
This award is announced annually by an association of international and Czech firms, the Business Leaders Forum, to promote and recognize organizations or companies which contribute voluntarily in an apparent and measurable way to the improvement of the environment in their region.
Our company takes part in this competition regularly with its own projects.
2001 -We received an award for the “Project of alternative resources of heat implementation, with regards to energetic savings and environmental protection in the Czech Republic”.
2007 - We entered the project “Reconstruction of the heating of Strahov monastery – heat pumps installation” and we received the award Finalist of the Year 2006.
2009 - For the project “Research and training center of recoverable resources applications – heat pumps” we received the Special Award for Industry and University Cooperation
Facade of the Year 2008
On April 2, 2009, our company received an award in the ninth year of the competition Facade of the year 2008, which was held by BAUMIT. It is an open competition to recognize quality and well-realized projects in regard to the facade cover.
Petr Bureš, the managing director of VESKOM, received the Public Voting Award “www – open”. Our new building – the Administrative-storage facilities of VESKOM in Prague received the most votes in the category of Internet voting.
Award for Successful Management Activity in 2007
On June 14, 2007, Petr Bureš, the managing director of VESKOM GROUP, received an award for Successful Management Activity in the year 2007. This award was given by the Czech manager’s association for the design, preparation and commencement of the realization of the Research and training center of alternative energies application – heat pumps, which was realized in the new administrative-storage facilities of VESKOM in Prague – Dolní Měcholupy.
The research and training center was created in cooperation with ČVUT and ČZU with financial support from European Union funds.
Golden Semicolon 2006
On April 5, 2007, VESKOM received the Professional Level Certificate “RATED” in the competition Golden Semicolon 2006. This competition is held by the PR Klub and it rates and recognizes periodic and non-periodic publications of companies intended for presentation of the companies, products and services, for clients, business partners or employees. Classification takes place in several categories. VESKOM received the award for the firm’s Profil VESKOM and materials related to it.
