History

VESKOM, spol. s r.o. was founded in December 1991 by four partners with the vision of building a long-term prospective company, providing comprehensive services in the field of compressors and heating. This was possible thanks to the extensive experience of the partners and the first employees who all came from the design institute of ČKD and ČKD Kompresory.

In 1993, we began cooperating with the Finnish company TAMROTOR in the field of compressors and with the Swedish firm IVT INDUSTRI through SCANBIS in the field of heating – alternative resources – heat pumps.

Since our mutual cooperation produced results, we concluded a contract with TAMROTOR for exclusive representation in our country. The same year, we concluded a contract on representation with the Italian producer of air treatment machines, MTA.

Since one of the partners left in 1993, VESKOM has not gone through any other ownership changes. Since 2000, when TAMROTOR was bought by the American company GARDNER DENVER, we have been representing the whole range of their products in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

In 2000, our company was certified in the quality system in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard, which was supplemented in 2003 with the environmental system certificate according to the ISO 14001 standard and in 2006 with the safety and health protection at work system OHSAS 18001.

In response to the increased need and number of contracts, a group was established in 1997 with the business name VESKOM GROUP. The companies of the VESKOM GROUP provide firms with top-rate technical and administrative facilities, a wide variety of specialized knowledge and the practical experience of its own or external specialists. The headquarters are situated in Prague and there are other equivalent branches and related companies in Brno, Liberec, České Budějovice, Pardubice and Malacky in Slovakia. The development of the company is by far not at an end. We would like to set up a system of providing services in the areas of our activities which would be suitable for the needs of different regions.
