Oil-lubricated and oil-free compressors GARDNER DENVER Group for continuous operation up to 500 kW.

Screw compressors are rotary volumetric machines for air compression. Air compression is achieved by shrinking of the pair-chambers between the screw cogs. Screw compressors are either lubricated (oil is used primarly to remove heat from the compressed medium and to lubricate the machine), or oil-free (dry or with coolant injectioning).

The compressor works with the bulit-in pressure ratio, that can not be changed. All lubricated screw compressors content inner oil coolers, which ensure, that most of the heat generated during compression is removed (94% of the compressor power).
