Its task is to maintain pressure in the air system in a narrow band. At the same time, it selects individual compressors with respect to current system consumption and compressor parameters to maintain high energy efficiency. Thanks to the interconnection of the entire production and compressed air conditioning system, the risk of failure of the air supply in the event of a failure of the compressor or related equipment is minimized. By using a superior control system for more efficient operation, power consumption can reduce the production of compressed air by up to 25%. The system is able to control compressors of different manufacturers and types through additional communication modules. In total, up to 12 compressors can be managed at the same time. For maximum customization at the air consumption point, a user schedule is available with the ability to switch up to 12 configurable profiles with different compressor pressures or priorities.
The new GD Connect 4 driver, which is capable of intelligently control up to four constant speed compressors, is the ideal solution for smaller compressor stations. It is a suitable addition to Gardner Denver's existing GD Connect 12 driver, which allows you to control up to 12 compressors of any kind, including compressors with constant or infinitely variable speeds.
Condensate, oil and other impurities present in compressed air systems can cause serious damage if they are not properly removed. These impurities are separated from the compressed air at various points in the system; the purpose of the condensate discharger is to remove them to ensure high quality processing of the compressed air. The CE/CDE LiquiPro capacitive electronic condensate dischargers allow the controlled discharge of condensate, removing any loss of compressed air. A careful selection of materials and a precise design allow easy installation and provide years of smooth operation even in extreme conditions.
The DryXtreme NA adsorption dryers offer dew points from - 40°C to -70°C allowing accurate and efficient operation in many critical applications such as the chemical-pharmaceutical, food, electronic, automotive industries or in external, low temperature installations. All this within a compact and technologically-advanced package.
The NA dryers feature two painted extruded aluminium vessels, each equipped with a cartridge containing absorbent material (molecular sieve). The compressed air is dried alternately by the 2 cartridges, which are regenerated via a small part of the air already treated, when the absorbent material becomes saturated with moisture.
DE iTECH is the new generation of energy saving refrigeration cycle dryers with which MTA not only renews its range of products for the processing of compressed air but reinterprets the concept of thermal mass to which the DE Hybrid dryers owe their success. The innovative Impulse Technology system offers important advantages in terms of energy savings, reliability and management costs thanks to the ability of DE iTECH to adapt perfectly to the real requirements of the system. The dryer adjustment system controls its operation and ensures the ideal energy solution for drying of the compressed air, allowing high savings and at the same time excellent stability of the dew point, even under dynamic conditions.
DE-X refrigeration dryers offer accurate dew point control in an easy-to-use package with very wide operating parameters and a strong focus on reducing overall global impacts. Unique features and patented technologies ensure the requirements of individual industrial applications are fully catered for.
Benefits:
The HPDry has been studied specifically for high pressure drying requirements (e.g. the production of PET bottles). The extremely strong construction with shell and tube heat exchangers with stainless steel pipes, ensures safe and continuous operation in any conditions.
HPDry is an energy saving dryer as it exploits the operational advantages of the thermal storage principle: a hydraulic vessel on the machine accumulates cold, acting as a thermal storage. This allows the dryer to automatically adapt to the air flow and ambient conditions, ensuring energy savings, which at partial loads can typically vary from 30 to 80%.
All HPDry models are made up from a chiller used to cool the compressed air passing through the gas/water shell and tube heat exchanger, allowing the moisture to be removed.
Specifically designed to dry the Biogas destined to power the co-generators, EnerDryer is extremely compact and suitable for outdoor installation. The strong galvanized steel beam structure supports the dryer and features an industrial chiller with an integrated hydraulic module and a thermally insulated drying system, in turn formed by a gas/water heat exchanger, an economizer exchanger and a condensate separation and drain system. All parts in contact with the biogas are in stainless steel, ensuring stable and secure operation through time.
The condensate contains large quantities of oil and impurities, which if freely drained create significant environmental damage. For these reasons, most countries have implemented strict condensate drain legislations. Solutions which do not guarantee the required draining quality lead to the risk of significant fines, whilst traditional treatment solutions present a notable financial burden. LiquiPure LP is water-oil separation system for non-emulsion oily condensate, which solves this problem at a low cost and with low maintenance and guarantees the separation in accordance with local legislations.
Final water coolers from the CoolPro – WE/WF series allow the efficient and economical purification of compressed air by cooling the air at the outlet of the compressor at an outlet temperature of only 10°C higher than that of the inlet water. This cooling causes condensation of up to 80% of the moisture present in the compressed air that can be separated thanks to an AS/MS centrifugal condensate separator installed at the outlet of the cooler. The WE/WF final coolers consist of a shell and tube exchanger cooled in perfect countercurrent by a flow of cooling water.
